My upcoming dance piece sets the stage as a place of prayer for justice, recovery and self-realisation. In times when the world seems to show its ugliest sides, repercussions of the past, intergenerational traumas, collective emotional states pop up to the outermost layer. Destruction commences. It's worth to ask: What of those that have been unacknowledged/ignored/left out, tend to resurface. How can one take a stand and stay, quote and quote: safe. When it feels like the sacrifices didn't pay off. And, while digging, tonnes of rock could only extract less gold than a sugar cube. What's there, at the picture of a "golden hour", for us to contemplate.
